Fitz: A Good Guy

Ryan Fitzpatrick was awarded the 2020 “Good Guy” award by Pro Football Writers of America-Miami Chapter @PFWAwriters. Long story short, Fitz is awesome, everyone in the media wants to talk to him, and he handles all of the media with such dignity and class.

Fitzpatrick is a perfect role model for Tua to grow alongside. It’s not an ideal situation for Fitzmagic as the Dolphins closer, but he relishes the role, and makes the most of if. Fitz single-handedly kept our playoff hopes alive in Las Vegas this past year.

It would be awesome to keep Fitz on our roster and continue to build around Tua and Fitz. It’s like Yoda teaching young Luke Skywalker. Fitz is a guy you are lucky to have on your team.

There are multiple starting QB jobs up for grabs this season and I won’t be surprised to see another team sprinkle some Fitzmagic on their franchise.

However, if he stays with the Dolphins in the backup/closer role, he may finally make the playoffs in the next year or so.

It’s almost unfair that the Bucs are playing for the Super Bowl without him.

Better yet, let’s get him his well-earned Super Bowl ring right here in Miami.
