Gronk the Great

Jason Licht urged anyone who is having a bad day to spend a day with Gronk (@carmieV). Well, DUH! Where do I sign up? Gronk is a hilarious human and at the end of the day, he will be considered one of the all-time great TE’s in NFL History.

That’s a lot of take in for a 31 year old fresh off retirement. However, Gronk’s personality shines through always. He didn’t have a huge statistical year, but he did have a huge year in the locker room. Licht said in a statement that what Gronk has done for the locker room is equally as amazing as what Brady has done. It’s easy for players to get down during a long season, but not for Gronk. Gronk always seems to have that smile and that laugh, that let’s you know he’s there for a good time, but, he’s there to kick your ass first.

Brady knows that, obviously. That’s why he pushed for Gronk to comeback to Tampa with an already heavy TE group. You don’t think Brady knew Gronk was also shackled in New England? Brady picked a team, and then picked champions to join him. Winning cures all, and having champions in your locker room produces winning.

Gronk will go down as the best TE in history and I will forever be waiting for my day with Gronk.
