Miami Dolphins

All Quiet on the Dolphins Front

It has been a week since Super Bowl LV and there has been little or no word on the direction the Dolphins will take during free-agency. Several names appeared as rumors, but which rumors will stick? Who will come to Miami and lead the Dolphins to Super Bowl LVI in L.A.?

One thing that has been clear from the beginning, the Miami Dolphins are sticking to Tua. As I have said all along, the moves the Dolphins have made were made for Tua’s development. Knowing that the Dolphins have the franchise quarterback piece in place, it’s time to surround him with playmakers.

In the draft the Dolphins cannot miss on Najee Harris. Scouts are calling him better coming out of college than Derrick Henry. There has been speculation of the Dolphins going after Aaron Jones. He’s amazing, I just rather have a RB1 coming off of a National Championship rather than a star who didn’t finish his last snap because of injury. Can the roster support both? If so, come to South Beach Mr. Jones!

What do the Dolphins do with that third pick? Is it the safe route in Sewell? Will they sign Orlando Brown Jr.? Or instead, trade that pick to get more picks later? What about Heisman Trophy winner Davonta Smith? Do the Dolphins select him at #3 or should they try and go after guys like Curtis Samuel, Chris Godwin, Antônio Brown, etc..

I told you I know nothing. It will be interesting to see if the Dolphins strategy will be rebuild through the draft or repower through free-agency.

Hopefully, a little of both!
