Heat Fizzle Late Lose Three Straight

The Miami Heat raced to an 8-0 start and up 1 after the 3rd quarter. However, Brooklyn took it to Miami in the 4th quarter out scoring the Heat 28-14 to win convincingly 98-85. That’s the third straight loss for the Heat and their championship fire from a few months ago seems to have fizzled on this latest road trip. Hang tight, there’s hope Heat fans. The Denver Nuggets come to town on Wednesday and we have COVID sniffing dogs now. The Heat are 2-1 ATS in non-conference games this season. There’s no line yet, but whatever the line is,...

Covid-19 Meets it’s Worst Nightmare: The Miami Heat

Covid-19 has kept fans out of stadiums across the nation since March 12, 2020. I was actually sitting court-side with my brother when the “NBA Suspended Indefinitely...” message appeared on the Jumbotron after the Heat lost to the Charlotte Bobcats. The Heat made it all the way to the quarantine Finals, falling to Lebron, AD, and the Lakers, showing that they are resilient and Covid-19 wasn’t going to be a barrier for the teams’ success. Fast forward to 2021, and the Heat are again in the forefront of conversations in regards to combatting this nasty virus. This time, in a...

Rebuild or Re-power: QB Controversy in Miami? Not According to the Dolphins

Tua is our starter and the bright future of the franchise. If the Dolphins have a history of one thing, it’s transparency, for better or worse.  Facts, Watson wants out of Houston, and that is all we know. Now here’s the speculation. Supposedly, Watson wants to come to Miami or the Jets, which have the most to offer draft capital and players wise, which contradicts his leverage with the Texans organization.  Either way, he wants the first ticket out of Houston and it doesn’t even have to be First Class at this point. Here is what I will say, It’s nice to...

Arians Uses Brass for Shot at Sterling Silver

Brass knuckles are used in street fighting to severely induce pain on an opponent.  They are a weapon that stuns the opponent upon impact.  On Sunday, we saw LeFleur settle for a FG late in the game leading to their MVP quarterback, Aaron Rodgers never seeing the football again, at home, in the NFC Championship.  We saw the Bills drive early in their game and settle for FG after FG, ultimately losing to the reigning Super Bowl MVP and Super Bowl Champions.  Not Bruce Arians.  Arians pulled out his own shiny brass set of “knuckles” on 4th and 3 at the end of the...

Rodgers, too Hopes to Play/Host Super Bowl

Tom Brady secured his 10th Super Bowl appearance on Sunday, this time, he will be playing at home.   Rodgers said he is unsure of his future, which I’m confident he says those things to screw with the media and give them no offseason. Ok, I’ll bite, OF COURSE Rodgers wants out of Green Bay.  He wants to play/host a Super Bowl before he retires.  Who wouldn’t?  One thing is for sure, Green Bay, WI will not be hosting a Super Bowl in February. It’s truly amazing what Brady has done.  He’s now won as many NFC Conference Titles as Brees and Rodgers.  He’s got TEN...

Mahomes and the Chiefs Remain Superior in the AFC

Sadly, for #BillsMafia, the Kansas City Chiefs proved once again why they are the best team, with the best QB, in the AFC. I said it in my championship preview that IF Mahomes could be contained inside the pocket, the Bills would keep this game close. Well, Mahomes was scrambling all over the place, hobbling around on that toe, and throwing TD passes like a kid playing backyard football. Mahomes was in MVP form in the biggest game of the year to date. #ChiefsKingdom, another year, another Super Bowl appearance. We are going to be saying that for years to...

FINAL: LaFleur Opts for FG while the GOAT Prevails Bucs 31 Packers 26

The sun was shining early in Green Bay, and if you took away the white powder on the benches and around the field, it looked warm and toasty. Tom Brady took full advantage of the early sunshine and led the Bucs to an easy, early score, connecting with Mike Evans for 7-0 lead. Aaron Rodgers struggled in the first couple of possessions finding open receivers, and eating a little turf. The Buccaneers pass rush coupled with JK Scott failing to pin the Bucs deep early, it was a bit of a nightmare start for the Pack. Everything went the Buccaneers...

Touchdowns and Table Smashing: The Rise of #BillsMafia

As you have probably noticed, I love loyal fan bases. I am not taking anything away from Kansas City or Tampa Bay, as I know they have loyal fan bases as well, but #BillsMafia has taken the world by storm in recent years. The Bills have been to the playoffs now three times since 2017, before that 1999 was their latest appearance. With the recent uptick in success, #BillsMafia has risen to new heights. From creative tattoos, to tossing one-year old babies through birthday cakes shaped like tables, #BillsMafia has no boundaries. This year, more than ever, the Bills have...

BREAKING: Former University of Miami TE Greg Olsen Retires.

Greg Olsen stole the pre-game show by dropping his somewhat expected retirement news. Greg, a hilarious personality, is going to take his talents to the FOX Sports Broadcasting booth in the Fall. It will be interesting to see if they shackle his personality, or let him be free. Either way, he will be successful in his next venture. Speaking of success, at the University of Miami Greg Olsen was touted as the next great TE, in the same conversation as another Miami TE great, Jeremy Shockey. Greg Olsen will ultimately finish in the Top 5 TE’s of all-time. He was...

Cheeseheads: The Packers Die Hard Fans

Growing up an Indianapolis Colts fan, I never was able to see what a faithful and loyal fan base was until the Peyton-era. When you are winning, following a team is easy, fun, enjoyable. When things start to spiral it’s easy to switch alliances. I have always been a hometown team fan. If I am going to live somewhere, I feel the civic duty to follow the local teams. I can’t follow the local teams without really jumping all-in. So, when I moved to South Florida in 2014, I immediately jumped on the Dolphins bandwagon, bought season tickets, and started...
